The Big Brother housemates will be split into two teams for this week’s shopping task.

Forming the green team and the blue team the housemates will do battle to win ownership of different areas of the house.

Turf Wars began today with the teams doing battle for control of the kitchen. Whichever team wins will gain a luxury shopping budget, with the loosing team being banished from the kitchen and will survive on rations.

The task will culminate next Monday with one team winning the diary room. The team that secures this vital area of the house will be the only housemates allowed to nominate next week.
