Silas Blissett is to return to the village he once terrorised.

Silas will once again strike fear among the residents of Hollyoaks this month as he manages to escape from the psychiatric hospital and go in search for Texas.

He begins taunting Texas (Bianca Hendrickse-Spendlove) this week, prompting her to go and visit him, thinking he holds the clues to the death of Lynsey Nolan (Karen Hassan) who was found dead last week.

Actor Jeff Rawle, who plays Silas, spoke to All About Soap about his return.

“There was still more to explore, but I became unavailable due to other work commitments. There were always unanswered questions, so it seemed like a good idea to return for this storyline. I hope the fans will be pleased to see him back.” – Jeff Rawle
