Pick of the Plots: Monday July 10th

SoapWorld takes a look at the latest goings on in Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors this Monday.

Erica confides in Liz about her disillusionment with Dev, while Kevin talks to Rosie about the issues he’s experiencing with Anna. Erica reaches a decision and suggests Kevin joins her at a hotel for an afternoon of fun. Later, Erica excuses herself from Dev and waits for Kevin at the hotel.

Sarah calls at the police station and begs Neil to have a word with Bethany. Bethany’s appalled when Neil threatens her to pretend she made the whole thing up. As he leaves, Craig spots Bethany through the window and can see she’s upset. He contacts her to ask about Neil’s visit.

Elsewhere, Aidan’s furious at being the last to know about Johnny and Jenny’s reunion; intrigue surrounds a letter addressed to Mr & Mrs Cole; Liz tells Steve that she’s got a new job as a receptionist at the medical centre.

A worried Karen pushes Bernadette to reveal the father of her baby.

Abi is put out when Steven rejects her to focus on Lauren. Meanwhile, with a lot on her mind, Lauren meets with Josh and tells him she can’t stop thinking about what happened on Friday. As the pair chat, Lauren admits she doesn’t love Steven anymore, it’s over between them.  

Elsewhere, Robbie falls foul of Martin and Kush after evicting Donna from her pitch; Denise agrees to join Kim and Vincent on holiday.

EastEnders, Monday at 8pm on BBC One. Repeated at 10pm on UKTV channel ‘W’.

Emma worries the net is closing in on when Laurel confronts her and is determined to find out the truth. Laurel listens to Emma’s lies but is devastated to learn Ashley’s tapes have been ruined. She asks Arthur for his side of the story and puts a stop to Emma’s panicked interruptions. Is Emma’s secret about to be blown?

Elsewhere; Robert elated to learn an investment has paid off but Aaron isn’t so thrilled; Faith’s gift of a rape alarm goes down like a lead balloon with Pollard.

Emmerdale, Monday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.

Toby is rushed into surgery while Maxine takes Adams phone so they can focus all their attention on a show home – unaware that Darcy is trying to contact Adam. Later, Jesse finds them and Maxine realises that Darcy was telling the truth. Adam isn’t happy.

Granny Campbell wants Courtney to come back to Scotland if she’s going to keep the baby but Courtney isn’t keen.

Elsewhere, Grace calls Warren ‘Trev’ post-coital and Warren freaks out; Darren plans a special foreign film night for Nancy but a call from Kyle makes him panic.

Hollyoaks, Monday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.

Doctors is off-air for its annual summer break.
