Pick of the Plots: Friday July 28th

SoapWorld takes a look at the latest goings on in Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors this Friday.

Gail summons Leanne to No.8 and begrudgingly hands her a cheque from Nick for £25k as a gift from the sale of the flat. Leanne’s stunned, and showing her cheque to Peter, insists she wants to help with the cost of Toyah’s IVF treatment.

Michelle’s tackles graffiti at the bistro while Phelan fits new locks. Robert resurfaces and apologises to Michelle for being away all night. Later, Robert and Michelle are horrified when they spot a youth hurtling a Molotov cocktail at the door of the bistro, engulfing it in flames. Robert gives chase while Michelle is shaken. Later Robert and Michelle talk to the police and suggest that Rich is behind all the incidents.

Elsewhere, Sophie calls in a handout from Gina unaware of his financial problems; Steve asks Peter to give Liz some shifts at the Rovers but Liz turns them down; Summer’s unimpressed when Tracy suggests Amy hang out with her.

Carmel prepares for her date with Max and as she gets glammed up, Denise susses what’s going on. After a romantic evening, together, Max and Carmel choose to book a hotel room and things turn passionate.

Elsewhere, Shirley overhears Mick and Fi discussing her future at The Vic and upset, she later tells Mick she quits but is still living there. Kush and Shakil discuss Carmel’s divorce.

Laurel’s suspicious of Emma’s newfound love of religion and invites herself round to the house while she’s away to do some more digging.

As the Ibiza-goers arrive back in Hollyoaks, Lily confides in Tom but Prince loses his rag with Tom after getting the wrong end of the stick from Yasmine. Later, Lily finds Yasmine and Prince in bed together.

Neeta tries to end things with Mac but he works his way around her. Hunter quits his job at The Dog but when he later returns, he sleeps with Neeta again.

Elsewhere, Harry and Tony get a letter confirm Ste’s trial date. Tony visits Ste who tells him that he’s stopped taking his HIV medication. Farrah kisses Kim.
