SoapWeek: River City

As the residents of Shieldinch rally in the immediate aftermath of the shooting, Lenny looks for those responsible, and lives hang in the balance. Kim and Scarlett bond after Bob is caught in the crossfire, and Pete shows Caitlin his worth in these trying times.

River City, Tuesday at 8pm on BBC One Scotland.


SoapWeek: EastEnders

As the fireball from the gas explosion goes up, Walford in Bloom is thrown into chaos.

As the residents desperately search for their loved ones and help the injured, a panicked Max plays mind games with Steven and insists he sorts the problem with Jane once and for all. As Jane and Steven clash at Beales, the pressure becomes unbearable for Steven and he resorts to desperate measures as he takes a match to Beales Restaurant…

Meanwhile, the explosion has brought back bad memories for jittery Ted who takes out his gun as protection only to end up pulling the trigger on a visitor – who has been shot? Martin desperately tries to locate Stacey and the Mitchells fear the worse when they realise Phil was in close proximity to the blast.

Elsewhere, Linda tells Jack what she has been hiding from Mick; Bex helps an injured Mr Pryce.

EastEnders, Tuesday at 7.30pm on BBC One. Repeated at 10pm on UKTV channel ‘W’.


SoapWeek: Emmerdale

Charity makes an appointment to meet up with a client at a posh hotel but Debbie insists on accompanying her. When Charity is too full-on, Debbie ends up telling the maitre d’ she is a call girl – getting her thrown out in the process.  

Debbie negotiates the deal but when she takes the client out to test drive the Bentley, she discovers it’s gone. Who’s taken it?

Elsewhere, Amelia’s shocked to discover a knife under Daz’s pillow and ends up cutting herself; Leyla and Pete are sad as he collects his belongings.

Emmerdale, Tuesday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.


SoapWeek: Hollyoaks

Ste makes a decision about what do to with James’ information.

Tony and Mike are brought to the stand and although Tony does his best to defend Ste, Mike doesn’t hold back in telling the court exactly how he feels. James’ blatant disregard for Ste doesn’t go unnoticed and Harry speaks up, but is dragged out of court.

Tegan and Ryan encourage Leah to tell them what she’s keeping from them, prompting an emotional outburst from her. Elsewhere, Tony’s furious when he finds out that Diane has given Mandy a job.

Hollyoaks, Tuesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.

Grieving Ayesha opens up to Al about how she blames herself. Al says he also blamed himself for his father’s death, it’s a natural part of grieving but he has gradually come to realise that it was not his fault. Ayesha concedes the point. It would be easy to blame herself but there are very clearly two people to blame

Karen is worried about Rob and fears he could lose his job. Elsewhere, Ruhma has her formal police interview with Shane over the stolen goods and wonders how legal her marriage is.
