Pick of the Plots: Monday September 25th

SoapWorld takes a look at the latest goings on in Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors.

Michelle is surprised when Leanne and Steve join forces to help her nail Will as her stalker. Later, as Michelle keeps Will busy at the Bistro, Steve and Leanne snoop round his house looking for evidence. But will they find what they’re looking for before he returns?

Things are looking bleak at Underworld after Eva failed to persuade Adam to cancel his plans to ruin Aidan. As the workers start to hear rumours about what led to the close of the factory accusations fly and Aidan is public enemy number one.

Elsewhere, Bethany agrees to work in the salon to take her mind off the trial, unaware she’s being watched; Rana and Liz tear a strip off ‘Lenny’ for conning innocent people.

Coronation Street, Monday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV, UTV and STV.

Whitney and Woody step in to help Stacey but get more than they bargained for when Stacey publicly confronts them about ‘taking her kids’. Later, Carmel calls by to see Arthur whilst Lily is testing Stacey’s patience. Soon, Stacey snaps at Lily and then loses it with Carmel, just as a newly-released Martin returns home.

Michelle rants to Sharon about a persistent Tom before giving him the bursh off. However outside, Tom watches the house. Meanwhile, Dennis and Phil get a date for the adoption hearing.

Elsewhere, a cash-strapped Karen makes a private phone call; and Bernadette returns home from school distraught.

EastEnders, Monday at 8pm on BBC One. Repeated at 10pm on UKTV channel ‘W’.

Irritated by talk of the baby and Robert’s constant presence, Lachlan asks Lawrence if Robert has something on him. Lawrence is unsettled and later asks Robert to keep his distance. Robert agrees but is determined to find his way back in.

In the café, meanwhile, Gerry offers to help Lachlan find out what’s going on, but also asks him for money to keep his own secrets. Later, Gerry tries to extort more cash out of Lachlan who refuses to play ball. Gerry brings up Robert listens in and records their conversatoin as Gerry brings up Lachlan’s ecounter with the prozzy.

Elsewhere, Gabby promises to protect Arthur from Emma; Laurel is gutted that Jimmy and Nicola are avoiding her; Marlon and Paddy get competitive over dating.

Emmerdale, Monday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.

Neeta hands in her resignation at school and is pressured by Mac to stand by her decision. Later, Mac takes her phone, but then overhears her calling Hunter from The Dog’s handset.

The Maalik’s, including little brother Imran, move into their new home. Misbah gets the exciting news that the hospital has found a heart donor for Yasmine, but they realise she’s snuck out of the house and may miss her chance for a transplant.

Elsewhere, Maxine clashes with Darcy; Holly is put out when Damon invites Ellie out.

Hollyoaks, Monday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.

Daniel arrives at work minus Zara and is evasive when asked about her bike training. It soon becomes apparent why when Zara arrives wearing a neck brace. Daniel teases Zara.

Mrs Tembe worries as Ayesha continues to vent her frustrations about Bren’s death and Emma’s role in it. At Al’s request, Jimmi also tries talking to Ayesha but fails to get through to her. Later, Ayesha is presented with a new opportunity to make life difficult for Emma but will she take it?
