Romance comes knocking at Scarlett’s door, but given her past heartbreak, she is reluctant to let love in. Alex is worried about Annie and makes an interesting discovery about Stevie, while Lenny is forced to accept his limitations.
River City, Tuesday at 8pm on BBC One Scotland.
Under pressure to ensure Max gets the sealed bids from Carmel, Fi does her best to talk Max round and he later has a snoop on Carmel’s laptop whilst she is asleep. However not wanting anyone else to get caught in the crossfire, Max tells Willmott-Brown he wants to meet him and sort things out once and for all.
Meanwhile, Luke utilises his relationship with Ben and pays a visit to Jay to make an offer on the car lot – will Jay accept?
Elsewhere, Billy panics when he learns Coker & Mitchell is to be subject to a tax audit; Donna goes out with Robbie.

Following Moira’s erratic behaviour at the hospital yesterday, social services arrive at Butler’s Farm to check up on mum and baby. Cain is concerned about Moira.
Debbie tells Sarah that she has a meeting, but Sarah’s suspicious to clock the glam dress she’s wearing. At the hotel suite, Debbie’s initially feeling patronised by Tom but eventually succumbs to his charms. She discusses the house auction with him and he offers her a loan but she’s determined to go it alone despite feeling anxious about her chances of getting the property.
Elsewhere, Tracy sets up Vanessa with her accountant Amanda; Victoria and Adam share their plans to adopt with Moira.
Emmerdale, Tuesday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.
Glenn offers to give Darcy a lift, with an ulterior motive. He drives Darcy to a deserted road where he accuses her of killing Tracey, which she denies. He orders her to leave the village alone but is floored when Darcy reveals that he’s Toby’s dad.
Luke confronts Tony about his kiss with Mandy and the two men have a comical fight in the village. Diane and Tony make up whilst Luke prepares to sleep in his car after another rejection from Mandy.
Elsewhere, Misbah warns Sami that Imran can never know what happened to their father; Tegan plays cupid.
Hollyoaks, Tuesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
Ayesha persuades Valerie not to cancel her date today with Pete and by the time they get to the Mill, she is persuaded that their mutual love for Kate Winslet movies must be fate. Karen later finds Valerie having a saucy text chat with Pete and encourages her to up the ante, until it goes a little too far, even for Karen!
Later, Valerie sits nervously in The Icon Bar when Pete Dinsdale (49) arrives – she asks for a coffee but he wastes no time in ordering a bottle of wine and intensely asking, what makes her tick? In the meantime, Ayesha plucks up the courage to apologise to Al for being a cow before asking for his help with something for Valerie.
