SoapWeek: Corrie

Eileen is concerned to find the back door open and that someone has put nails in her car tyres. As she and Nicola return to the house they hear a noise on the stairs and realise they have an intruder – Eileen arms herself with a pan. Later, Eileen offers Abi a bed for the night. in the backyard of number 11 someone removes the spare key from under the plant pot.

Meanwhile, David is irritated to discover that Maria has taken on an apprentice, Emma, at the salon. Emma clocks David’s distress when Alya mentions that she has a date with Josh. When David finds out that Max and Lily have spent time with Shona he’s not happy, his outburst worries Gail who confides in Sarah.

Elsewhere, Sophie is shocked to learn about Rana and Kate’s affair; Rana tells Kate she is not going to report her parents; there’s still tension between Michelle and Carla; and Aidan offers Summer some work experience at the factory.

SoapWeek: EastEnders

Kim is baffled by Vincent’s behaviour and he drops a huge bombshell.

Meanwhile, Stacey confronts Kat for ignoring Alfie and Kat soon clocks on that Stacey has tried to contact him leaving her furious. Kat and Stacey have a heart to heart about Kat’s kids and Stacey is later relieved when she hears Kat making arrangements to see them.

Elsewhere, Ian passes off Masood’s business idea as his own; a mysterious man, Bijan, arrives on the Square.

EastEnders, Friday at 8pm on BBC One.


SoapWeek: Emmerdale

Laurel is called into the school and is mortified when Jessie shows her Arthur’s homework.

Meanwhile, Belle struggles to hold it together.

Elsewhere, Paddy advises Marlon to ask Jessie out again, and Marlon is pleased when Jessie accepts his offer to go for coffee.

SoapWeek: Hollyoaks

Cleo and Joel meet up but just as they’re about to leave the village on Joel’s motorbike, Myra catches them. Myra tells Cleo that Joel will always choose Sienna. Later, Myra finds Cleo shoving food into her mouth and is devastated as she breaks down in her arms. Myra confronts Joel about what he has done to her niece.

Peri and Harley are out on their own again, but Harley tells Peri there is no we anymore and leaves. Meanwhile, DS Stanton returns Leela’s stolen bank card and recognizes a picture of Peri. He offers to help Leela find her.

Elsewhere, Esther is not happy about Darcy and Jack marrying; Sienna receives a teddy bear with a voice recording….someone knows her secret, but who?

Hollyoaks, Friday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.


Doctors Pick of the Plots logo

Jimmi is buoyed by Mrs Tembe and Valerie ahead of his meeting with Samantha the VC. As the meeting gets underway, it’s clear she shares the view of Daniel and Zara – the students who attend the Campus are usually just hungover malingerers and the really sick ones could go to The Mill. Jimmi protests, but the meeting is over and Samantha walks out leaving Jimmi fuming.

However, the penny suddenly drops for Jimmi and outside he confronts Samantha. He knows that she’s just playing a negotiating game – she knows they can’t do without them. Samantha smiles, begrudgingly, she’s been caught out. She just wanted to test out their commitment to the University – and he passed with flying colours, Jimmi is far more impressive than Daniel – would he like to go for dinner?
