Pick of the Plots: Monday July 23rd

The latest goings on in Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale, and Hollyoaks.

SoapWeek: Corrie

Kayla assures Craig he doesn’t need to do his rituals but then deliberately slams on her car brakes, causing Gail and Audrey to crash into them. Blaming a cat she tells Craig that it was his rituals keeping them safe. A worried Audrey tells Gail the car is registered to a Marsha Clifton and Bethany sees no sign of a moggy on the CCTV.

Kayla is frustrated when Craig insists he needs to go to hospital as his mental health needs treating. When Bethany finds out that Craig has missed his police medical she sets off to Kayla’s house to find him. Having left Craig at the hospital Kayla is at home and lets Bethany in. A horrified Bethany spots the photograph of Neil and Kayla, is the game up for Kayla?

Meanwhile, Tyrone tells Fiz he would like them to get back together and they plan a romantic dinner but Tyrone is then shocked by a visit from the police. Later, Fiz arrives at no. 9 to find a devastated Tyrone – his mum is dead.

Elsewhere, Kevin sees a prosthetic specialist about Jack; Audrey gives Maria an ultimatum; Peter announces he has sold the pub; and Beth and Kirk throw a flat warming party.

Coronation Street, Monday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV, STV and UTV.


SoapWeek: EastEnders

Mick, now accepting of Stuart’s role in Tina’s ordeal, is baffled when Tina tells him to forget it. Seeing Mick’s frustration Linda also tries to calm him down. However, Mick later confronts Stuart, the pair coming to blows once more.

Meanwhile, Kat is on a roll, securing a new cleaning gig at Ian’s restaurant and learning the Knowledge but when Hayley tests her on routes and she gets them wrong, Kat is left deflated. At Mo’s suggestion, Kat gets a scooter to learn the roads and talks Keanu into keeping it at the Arches for her.

Elsewhere, Jean is excited to receive a large delivery of boxes but not for long; Kush waves his mum off on a break.

EastEnders, Monday at 8pm on BBC One.


SoapWeek: Emmerdale

Charity gets another chance with Ryan.

Victoria and Matty bond and Victoria suddenly senses a romantic attraction between them. In turmoil, she backs off.

Elsewhere, Dr Cavanagh is relieved when Tracy decides not to report him but he gives her a veiled warning about Maya. Tracy tries to talk to David but he dismisses her concern.

Emmerdale, Monday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.


SoapWeek: Hollyoaks

It’s the aftermath of Damon’s stag do and Brody feels incredibly guilty after cheating on Liberty with a stripper. Buster later hears Brody on the phone telling her not to call him again.

Meanwhile, Holly is struggling with the revelation Zack is in love with her. Seeing them together, Damon assumes the worst and ends up in a fight with Zack. Holly calls off the wedding but later forgives Damon.

Elsewhere, Milo appears out of the water and tells Cindy she must leave the family, he knows she slept with Damon. Hunter and Prince decide to put on summer raves, however Hunter secretly purchases more anxiety pills online.

Hollyoaks, Monday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
