The latest goings on in River City, EastEnders, Emmerdale, and Hollyoaks.
As Danny tries to make amends with Jules, their relationship takes a sinister turn. Meanwhile Angus forces Frankie to face her bulimia and Amber worries for Charlotte’s future.
River City, Tuesday at 8pm on BBC One Scotland.
It’s the day of the restaurant opening, and the pressure is on when a journalist arrives with whom Ian has had a previous snippy encounter. Kim is raring to sample the VIP treatment but Denise is concerned about Kush who has declined to attend. However, a pep talk from Carmel sees Kush make the opening, only to embarrass Kim by drunkenly revealing her pregnancy.
As Ian runs around trying to please everyone, he’s stopped in his tracks when he catches Kathy and Masood kissing and things escalate. Ian sits alone in his restaurant – his hope of a successful launch in tatters. Hurt, he knows exactly who is to blame – Kathy and Masood.
Meanwhile, Ted experiences more chest pain and Tina insists on taking him to A&E. A worried Bernadette joins them but they are all relieved when Ted says he got the all clear. Back at home Ted ponders his medication and a leaflet about Angina but decides to join Patrick in The Vic pretending he’s fighting fit.
Elsewhere, Tiffany meets up with Jagger who introduces her to the rest of the gang, she swigs some booze to impress. Billy cooks for Honey, but it ends in disaster.
EastEnders, Tuesday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
Victoria asks Charity and Marlon for the day off to go out with Matty but later, tries to hide her disappointment when he instead meets up with Abby. As Matty and Abby kiss, a fed-up Victoria averts her gaze. Unaware he is rubbing salt into her wound, Matty tells Victoria he’s going to tell Abby about his transition.
Later, when Victoria finds Abby crying she assumes Matty has told her and lashes out at her for not understanding. But Victoria is mortified when she realises Abby didn’t know after all. Matty is devastated, will he be able to forgive Victoria?
Elsewhere, Maya warns Jacob to stay away from Leanna, leaving Leanna swearing revenge when she finds out; and Pete struggles to bond with Leo.
Emmerdale, Tuesday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.
Zack tells his mum that Glenn is still in love with Grace and they are still together, leaving Simone very embarrassed. But it turns out Glenn recorded his encounter with Simone, and is now using that to blackmail her into giving him the school funding.
Meanwhile, Grace is gutted to find out Glenn has slept with someone else. Maxine goes to comfort her when she sees how upset and lost she is.
Elsewhere, Courtney and Jesse clash after he tells her that he feels is being taken for granted.
Hollyoaks, Tuesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
