Actor Roger Griffiths has reprised his role as EastEnders’ Mitch Baker.
Mitch is Karen Taylor’s (Lorraine Stanley) untrustworthy ex-partner and the estranged father of Keegan (Zack Morris).
“It feels great to be returning to Albert Square and working with the wonderful cast and crew again, especially the fantastic Taylor family.” – Roger Griffiths
The character first rocked up in the Square in March, receiving a hostile welcome from the Taylor clan who he had walked out on some years prior. Mitch managed to charm his way back into Karen’s heart and to strike up a bond with Keegan, but he soon showed his true colours when he fled the Square with a wad of cash meant for Mr Murray.
Charming yet deceitful, Mitch quickly returned to try and make amends with Karen and Keegan but Karen saw through his efforts and after learning he had a wife, warned him to stay out of her family’s life.
As Mitch makes his latest return, it becomes clear he’s on a mission to win the Taylors round but what does he have up his sleeve and how will they react to seeing him again?
“I’m excited for the viewers to learn more about Mitch and see what trouble he gets himself into this time…” – Roger Griffiths
Griffiths has already resumed filming with the BBC One soap.
