SoapWeek: Corrie

Steve despairs of Abi who isn’t up to the job at streetcars. Abi confides in Seb that the twins’ foster parents are taking them to Lapland for Christmas and she thinks they are better off without her. Filled with self-loathing, Abi cancels her visit with them and sits drinking vodka, watching them play in the foster parents’ garden.

Later, Abi leaves a desperate message on Tracy’s phone, begging for help. Tracy’s shocked to find Abi lying unconscious on Victoria Street and quickly phones an ambulance. Tracy’s consumed with guilt as Seb notes how his Mum’s life has fallen apart since she was accused of sabotaging Michelle’s car.

Meanwhile, Claudia winds Audrey up about the hairdressing awards that afternoon. Audrey is horrified when Claudia tells her she has nominated her for the lifetime achievement award. Later, a tipsy Audrey takes the stage to accept her award and praises Maria in an impassioned speech. Maria tells Emma she feels she has made a terrible mistake leaving the salon.

Elsewhere Nick plays Carla at her own game while Leanne insists on no secrets; Amy forces Steve and Tracy to abide by the contract.

Coronation Street, Monday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV, STV and UTV.


SoapWeek: EastEnders

Max and Rainie are shocked when – in a statement via her solicitor – Cora states that she knows their marriage is fake as Rainie and Jack slept together. Jack confirms the liaison, leaving Max furious that Rainie has jeopardised their chances of getting custody of Abi. Later, Max tries to work out the source of Cora’s information, which he plans to deny. In the pub, Rainie sees red when Cora delivers some harsh words to her and Max.

Meanwhile, Hayley feels triumphant when she manages to settle her baby but Bev is keen to put her off motherhood, criticising her every effort. At Bev’s suggestion, Hayley steps out for some air but she’s horrified when she returns and overhears her mum plotting on the phone.

Elsewhere, Bernadette is concerned about Keegan’s strange behaviour and confides in Tiff; Karen supports a reluctant Keegan at his counselling session.

EastEnders, Monday at 8pm on BBC One.


SoapWeek: Emmerdale

Realising that she is onto him, Graham visits Debbie and admits to being behind the message she received from Joe. Angry, Debbie lashes out and Cain tries to steer her away. Later, Cain confronts Graham at Home Farm, telling him to move on.

Meanwhile, Brenda tells Doug that she has no intention of reconciling with Bob and it’d be better if he left. Bob sneaks downstairs, having heard every word, how will he react?

Elsewhere Jai shows a mortified Rishi the comments he is receiving in reply to his videos.

Emmerdale, Monday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.


SoapWeek: Hollyoaks

Mercedes is suspicious when Russ gifts her earrings instead of the necklace she was expecting. Russ covers when she confronts him, but Mercedes later demands more answers when she interrupts his efforts to retrieve the original gift from Goldie.

Meanwhile, Harley tells Peri she has quit school and the pair get into an argument. Harley admits she is jealous of Peri’s relationship with Tom and Steph, so Peri tries to make her feel included. It’s not enough for Harley who issues Peri with an ultimatum.

Elsewhere Sinead sets up a meeting between Laurie and Sally, while Laurie seeks advice from Sami about the threats he has been getting. Jack asks Breda to look after Charlie who is off school with a cold – all part of his plan to woo her.

Hollyoaks, Monday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.

Mrs Tembe and Heston are carted into A&E; Heston is rushed in for a scan and Mrs Tembe straight into surgery. Al finds Ruhma and tries to articulate what has happened but Rob stops him and takes over. Ruhma calls the kids.

Al returns to The Mill and breaks the news of what has happened. Zara immediately leaves for the hospital, someone needs to be there for Mrs Tembe – she’ll ring when she has news. Back at the hospital, Ruhma is devastated to learn that Heston isn’t going to make it. Shak is broken but Alia in contrast is collected and efficient – should they be considering organ donation?

Mrs Tembe comes round and is surprised to find Zara there. Her first thoughts are of Heston but Zara can’t bear to tell her the truth. Al stands outside Heston’s hospital room, looking in on the grieving family, as Heston’s body finally gives up the fight and his heart monitor flat lines – he’s gone.
