Nick Servini has been appointed political editor of BBC Cymru Wales.
Current business correspondent, Nick will take up his new role as political editor in August which will see him maintain a strong on-air presence, reporting on the latest political issues affecting Wales.
Head of news and current affairs in Wales, Mark O’Callaghan said the appointment was “great news” for BBC audiences in Wales and beyond.
Servini previously worked as a reporter on Good Morning Wales on BBC Radio Wales and in London at BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio 5 Live.

Prior to joining the BBC, Nick worked at several local newspapers in England and Wales and was part of the launch team for the Welsh Mirror newspaper in 1999.
