Steve Brookstein, Shayne Ward, Leon Jackson and Matt Cardle have been snubbed by X Factor bosses ahead of tenth anniversary celebrations.
The X Factor is preparing to celebrate its tenth series a week on Saturday by having an ‘X Factor’ themed week, featuring hits of some of the show’s biggest stars. The Sun reports that the four past winners won’t be featured, snubbed by the show that made them famous.
This year’s acts will cover songs by previous winners such as Leona Lewis and Alexandra Burke along with last year’s winner James Arthur. The newspaper claims songs by One Direction and Olly Murs, two acts who were runners up in their respective years, will also have their work covered.
This weekend Rough Copy, Sam Bailey, Tamera Foster, Sam Callahan, Nicholas McDonald, Hannah Barrett and Luke Friend will perform hits from the ‘Great British Songbook’. Sam Callahan is favourite with the bookmakers to be voted off having never been in the bottom two despite criticism from judge Gary Barlow and viewers he has the ‘weakest voice’ in the competition.
X Factor continues this weekend on ITV / STV / UTV.
