Former NBC News presenter and reporter Garrick Utley has died, aged 74.
His wife announced on Friday that Utley had died after a battle with prostate cancer. Garrick had worked for NBC News for over 30 years, beginning in the 1960s reporting on various stories at the time including the invasion of Czechoslovakia.
During his time at NBC News, he was reporter, bureau chief for the foreign news desks and host of the main evening newscast NBC Nightly News. Between 1989 and 1991 he was moderator of the Sunday morning political talk show Meet The Press. Leaving NBC News in the 1990s, he went on to work for ABC News and CNN.
