Channel 4 will be exploring more Very British Problems in a new series to be screened later this year.
The broadcaster has re-commissioned the show for three more episodes as well as a one off Christmas edition. The first series aired during the summer on 4 and proved popular with viewers. The show is based on the Twitter feed of the same name, founded by Rob Temple, and features a number of celebrities providing their own unique take of Britishness.
The programme has been commissioned by Rich Evans, commissioning editor for factual entertainment at Channel 4, who praises producers Alaska TV for putting together a “dream line-up” of celebrities.
“Alaska did a brilliant job of booking a dream line-up and turning around a thoroughly delightful series that viewers loved in double-quick time, so this is a well-deserved recommission.” – Rich Evans
The new series of Very British Problems will feature a number of familiar faces who appeared on the first series as well as some new names.
