It’s Masood’s final day in Walford but Denise hasn’t given up on the idea of getting him to stay. As Denise puts her plan into motion (‘kidnapping’ Masood after enlisting him to give Kim a driving lesson), the pair have a heated argument but will she change his mind?
Elsewhere, Roxy agrees to pick Amy and Ricky up from school but gets distracted making a nativity costume for Amy. She is later devastated when a fuming Jack confronts her over the mishap. Jack later suggests him and Ronnie move out of London.

Lachlan’s non-attendance at school troubles Chrissie. Tracking him down to the village, Rebecca takes the opportunity to work on him, assuring him he’s not to blame for his misdemeanours and encouraging him to go to the police. Chrissie and Lawrence are later stunned when a police officer shows up at Home Farm while Rebecca is pleased her plan is coming together. Chrissie ponders making a confession of her own. At the cop shop Lachlan’s interview begins and he seems determined to come clean but make the shooting seem like an accident.
Pierce is narked when Paddy starts giving him advice on how to help Rhona manage her pain without pills. Later, Pierce is left paranoid when Rhona receives some flowers from ‘P’ as he didn’t send them.
Elsewhere, Frank takes Megan out to a nice restaurant but he’s left unnerved when the waiter, Bobby, recognises him and privately blames him for ruining his life. Jai’s riled to see Kerry in the factory demanding three grand not to take them to court. Bernice is fed up with Kerry and fires her from the salon.

Cindy and Grace give Eva another lead for the Osbornes case. Cindy is delighted when OB returns and together they resolve to find the Osbornes. Eva records Liam talking about being shot by Grace and blackmails him to keep his mouth shut about her vendetta against Jack.
All Goldie wants is a roof over her head so she can get her children back. John Paul finds Goldie’s sons, Prince and Hunter at the McQueen’s and Goldie cheekily asks if they can all stay…

Professor Jenny Sinclair comes to see Heston to beg for his help. Her father, Heston’s mentor, Ben Sinclair, has become more eccentric of late. He doesn’t look after himself very well and he’s drinking too much sherry. Now he’s locked himself in the house and won’t let anyone in. Heston manages to talk his way in to the house and discovers that Ben has his own worries: he fears that Jenny wants to consign him to a nursing home.
Al gets a surprising visit from Tom Rodmore, the student who upskirted Valerie. He wants to discuss how he’s feeling. He doesn’t just take the pictures for a laugh, he finds them really gratifying, perhaps more so than actual physical contact with a woman. Al struggles to know how to advise this young man, who is struggling with feelings of guilt and shame.
Shazia, Ruhma’s best friend, is on her way to meet Ruhma when she is spat at by a teenage girl. Over lunch, Shazia is in despair. She doesn’t know whether she can go on wearing the hijab, it has become such a flashpoint, she really doesn’t know what to think anymore. Ruhma is outraged: you mustn’t give in, that’s what they want. Shazia confides that even her husband is begging her to take it off, he is frightened for her safety. He has called a family meeting today to try to persuade her. Shazia feels that she ought to stand up for her right to wear it, as a feminist and a muslim.

Furious that Phelan has outwitted him once more, Michael urges Sarah and Gary to visit the site and check on progress. Tipped off by Todd Phelan suggests they offer an open day to buy some time. Later, Phelan feels a pang of guilt after Eileen thanks him for making her feel so happy while Michael eyeballs him with contempt. Meanwhile Anna’s angry to discover that Faye has stolen Phelan’s phone but she listens to the phone’s voicemail messages.
Ken thanks Adam for coming while Daniel explains he got Peter’s messages so came to see Ken and started reading to him. At first, Tracy resents his presence but Ken makes it clear that Daniel’s family. Ken’s doctor reveals his condition has improved enough for him to recuperate at home. Later, Adam and Daniel join Tracy, Amy, Peter and Simon for a meal in the Bistro where they discuss Ken’s care and Daniel and Adam agree to stick around. Adam’s hackles rise when Tracy points out her cheating ex Robert.
Elsewhere, Aidan’s desire to fork out for a top lawyer for Maria leaves Johnny wondering if there’s something between the pair.
