Pick of the Plots: Wednesday February 8th

SoapWorld takes a look at the latest goings on in Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors this Wednesday.

Sophie and Rosie get a shock after trying to sort out the mess they’re in.

Adam winds Daniel up about his inexperience with women, causing him to snap at Sinead. Sinead agrees to dinner at the bistro with Chesney. However, when Daniel seeks Sinead out at the factory to apologise, one thing leads to another as Chesney waits at the bistro for Sinead to join him.

Elsewhere, David is intrigued by Shona; Phelan catches Seb stealing again; Bethany takes delivery of some parcels and shows Sarah her online video.

Coronation Street, Wednesday at 7.30pm on ITV, UTV and STV.

Lawrence takes steps to resolve things between Charity and Chrissie.

Sarah continues to bond with the woman in the barn and is concerned by her seemingly ill health. Sarah steals money from a charity tin to help her.

Meanwhile, Charity is after luring Frank into more scheming but will he go for it? Debbie distances herself from Charity; and Frank gives Tracy some money for David’s charity.

Emmerdale, Wednesday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.

Liam is horrified when the police ask to speak to Grace about Darcy, but then let her go. As Tracey makes a statement to the police incriminating her, Grace confides in Adam that all she did was pay Darcy to leave because Tracy told her to.

Grace rushes out of the door upon hearing sirens and begs Esther to hand over Curtis, but she refuses. Tracey confides in Liam that she lied to the police, she didn’t see Grace do anything, while innocent Grace is heartbroken about having to leave everyone behind.

Lily overhears Diane on the phone telling someone who isn’t Tony she loves them. Lily tells John Paul that Diane is having an affair. Meanwhile, a distinctive red hat, very similar to Diane’s, is lying on the sofa in Diego’s van.

Elsewhere, Nancy confides in Courtney and, to Darren’s annoyance, the pair decide on a job share for the promotion. Darren and Frankie are furious when they find out that Jack helped Eva escape and went to her funeral. 

Hollyoaks, Wednesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.

It is lunchtime at the Mill, but it is a self-help book that leaves a bad taste in everyone’s mouth. Love is off the menu for Ruhma and Heston as Zara decides to stir the pot with Daniel’s help. A meddling Al gets his just deserts.
