Patrick frets about his family hearing details of his abuse in court. As he waits in the witness room, Patrick meets the other defendant Liam, and is later left shaken by the effect court proceedings has on Liam.
Aware that the case against Anderson now rests on his shoulders, Patrick is daunted but catches sight of a friendly face in the courtroom – Angel has returned to support him. As Patrick takes the stand, his words hit home with Scarlett.
Elsewhere, Lenny’s smarting from Alex’s treachery; Pete’s shocked to discover Mikey’s off his medication.

Ian attempts to make plans for his birthday but grows frustrated when his family badger him to call the doctor. Later, Ian has a turn while competing in a pancake race put on by Mick and Whitney. The incident leaves Jane adamant that he get a doctor’s appointment.
A nervous Denise waits for the Minute Mart’s area manager, Harry, to arrive. Kim encounters him en route and states Denise’s case – but will it help?
Elsewhere, Shakil’s mortified as Keegan takes action against Bex; Shirley suggests to Tina that their mum moves into a home after admitting that she is struggling to cope.

As Rakesh talks to David about his job overseas, Jimmy interrupts to reveal Rakesh’s involvement in the fire at The Mill. David is furious and determined to stop Rakesh and Priya taking Amba with them. Later, Rakesh is hit hard over the head. But who is behind the crime? Potential suspects include Nicola as she wanted Rakesh to leave; David as he thinks Rakesh is still going abroad; Jimmy as he’s humiliated; or Jai as he is not happy Priya and Rakesh are back on?
Marlon confesses he and Laurel have kissed but how will Carly react? Sandy visits Ashley in the care home.
Elsewhere, Chrissie once again has suspicions about Ronnie; Frank treats Megan to a night of luxury.

Marnie storms into Nightingales ready for war with Mac, however Ellie is disbelieving of her claims that Mac and Lisa have been having an affair. Cleo accuses Alfie of not facing up to reality when he opens up about speaking to Jade and, after speaking with Tabby, Alfie decides that it’s time to say goodbye to Jade. Later, Alfie leaves for America with Tabby.
Meanwhile, Marnie is on self-destruct and sets fire to the pub unaware that Mac is asleep upstairs. Later, Marnie is taken away in a private ambulance after telling Freddie that she’s going to make Mac suffer.
Elsewhere Kim catches Frankie up to no good and later suggests to Esther that they move away; Neeta is thrown when Grace calls and asks her to bring Curtis to her.
