Pick of the Plots: Monday April 24th

SoapWorld takes a look at the latest goings on in Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors this Monday.

SoapWeek: Corrie

Amy confides in her mum that she hates Ken, leaving Tracy feeling suspicious of her daughter. Meanwhile, Adam tells the police he was in no.1 for a short time on the night Ken was attacked to get some money Amy had left for him, but Amy doesn’t corroborate his story. Adam fumes to hear this and points the finger at Tracy while Tracy suspects her daughter.

Sarah and Gary are worried about Bethany, while Nathan insists that Bethany should stay away from Gary because he’s a dangerous man. Later, Sarah resolves to get through to her daughter while Nathan confides in Mel that it’s time to take the next step with Bethany.

Elsewhere, Peter tells Toyah that with everything going on they should postpone their IVF, but she goes behind his back and has the embryos planted as planned; Billy’s amused that Todd is jealous of his ex; and Brian and Cathy grow closer.

Coronation Street, Monday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV, UTV and STV.


SoapWeek: EastEnders

With the Carters now requiring money for Lady Di’s treatment, Shirley meets up with Max to discuss selling the freehold. When she comes clean to Woody and contemplates the alternative (Lady Di being put to sleep), he reminds her just how much Lady Di means to Linda and Mick. Later, after Tina’s fundraising efforts fall flat, Shirley tells Woody that she’s going to speak to Linda about selling the freehold.

Assuming Lauren is distracted about the job interview, Steven asks Abi round to talk to her but with Lauren’s mind focused on Josh the sisters end up clashing. Later, Steven is pleased when Lauren reveals that she’s quit her internship until she reveals that it’s so she can find a full-time job.

Elsewhere, Honey is surprised when Derek is the new staff member at the Minute Mart.

EastEnders, Monday at 8pm on BBC One. Repeated at 10pm on UKTV channel ‘W’.


SoapWeek: Emmerdale

Pierce and Rhona’s Wedding Day has arrived.

As the ceremony begins, it looks as though Pierce won’t be able to go through with it, but in the end, everything goes to plan and the couple tie the knot. Later, as the villagers celebrate in the Woolpack, Pierce takes Rhona home and carries her over the threshold, however, their first night as man and wife takes a dark turn when a row leads to Pierce violently attacking Rhona.

Zak’s concerned about Belle and Lachlan spending time together as he thinks Lachlan is out of control, but Belle is enjoying his company. Elsewhere, Jai goes looking for Nell.

Emmerdale, Monday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.


SoapWeek: Hollyoaks

The police are searching for Freddie. Ellie wants to run away with him but, after speaking to Alfie, Freddie knows he can’t take Ellie away from her family. They say a tearful farewell before Freddie leaves for good.

Warren plans to burn down the flats to get rid of Bart’s body and, with Sienna’s help, they evacuate the building. They carry Bart’s body out in a rolled-up carpet and put it in the back of Warren’s van, but Prince thinks they’re burgling Sally’s flat and wants a cut of what they’ve stolen. Warren and Sienna panic when the van goes missing, was it Prince?

Elsewhere, Kathy Barnes returns and immediately locks horns with Zoe, who has also arrived for Amy’s funeral. Yasmine tells Hunter that Peri stole Neeta’s tablet. However, when Peri decides to confess to Neeta, Hunter takes the blame, feeling sorry for her.

Hollyoaks, Monday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.


Doctors Pick of the Plots logo
