SoapWeek: Corrie

As quicksand steadily envelops Nick, he is unsuccessful in using his mobile. Up to his waist, Nick notices with panic the rapidly rising tide. Will help get to him before it’s too late?

Nathan hands Bethany a spiked drink and takes off her engagement ring, noting it’s a deterrent to their ‘guests’. Bethany discards of a parcel from Sarah. Meanwhile, Craig is concerned about Bethany, but finds a semi-conscious Shona while en route to Nathan’s salon. He calls for help while at the party Bethany makes a show of himself… 

Elsewhere, Ken’s attacker is arrested for attempted murder; Kevin prepares a surprise celebration for Anna’s 50th and Cathy kisses Brian.

SoapWeek: Emmerdale

Carly is left speechless when Matt confesses his true feelings for her, asks her to leave with him and moves in for a kiss. Meanwhile, Laurel is also faced with a potential smooch after comforting Marlon. Will Carly and Laurel respond? 

Elsewhere, Jai finds Nell with her bags packed; Nell having misunderstood a conversation between him and Moira. Will Jai tell her he loves her or let her slip away? Chrissie meddles in Lachlan’s love life and Nicola and Jimmy get amorous at the factory.

SoapWeek: Hollyoaks

Nick is released on bail pending investigation but even Tegan is starting to doubt his innocence. Holly is terrified when Nick tells her to retract her statement, or he’ll post the sex video they made. Later, Dirk questions his nephew and is absolutely devastated when Nick admits that neither Ellie nor Holly gave him their consent. Holly and Cindy walk in as Nick is confessing to DC Hammond.

Elsewhere, Sienna wants Warren to be more involved in her pre-natal routine. However, she later finds paperwork for a child arrangement order in his pocket, after observing him talking to James.

Hollyoaks, Wednesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.

Mrs Tembe surprises a stressed Rob and Karen with a visit. She assists Karen in tidying up and asks how else she can help. Karen guiltily claims she doesn’t need her help after the horrible things she said about JJ. Mrs Tembe understands she spoke out of concern and reveals JJ has left. Mrs Tembe is thrilled to meet Marnie and Karen and Rob reveal they think she is finally starting to settle. After Mrs Tembe leaves the atmosphere is much calmer at the Hollins house.

Meanwhile Daniel spots Jimmi being charming with Megan and realises he fancies her. He tells Jimmi to grab the bull by the horns while Al and Sid also chip in, eventually prompting Jimmi to make an approach. But will Megan drop her concerns about professional boundaries?

Elsewhere, Heston encounters workplace bullying at a hotel and causes an impact with his customer feedback.
