{jcomments off}ITV has reportedly picked up a Cornish based drama rejected by the BBC.

Broadcast reports that ITV Studios has picked up a drama rejected by the BBC after a long development process. Bandit Country is a crime drama based in Cornwall written by James Henry who worked with the BBC on the project for nearly two years but ultimately the corporation decided not to go ahead with it as a series. Broadcast reports that ITV Studios has now optioned the series.
