John Orloff has been hired to write Bryan Singer’s proposed Battlestar Galactica movie.
The movie by Singer has moved one step closer to becoming a reality as its found itself a writer – John Orloff. There had been little news of the movie, which has been in development for some time now, until earlier this week. In an interview with Singer about the his project Excalibur coming to nothing the producer said it left him with more time to concentrate on BSG. Well now the project has gotten itself a writer which can only be a good thing!
The proposed Battlestar Galactica movie is based on Glen A. Larson’s original 1978 series and not the recent re-imagined series on Syfy by Ron Moore. So hopefully it will mean chrome toaster Cylons and not CGI ones! Though we must admit to being a fan of the re-imaged series – it was pretty frakking awesome. Orloff’s previous credits include Band of Brothers and Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole.
