NBC have announced today that all London 2012 Olympic events will be streamed online for the first time.

NBC, who hold the rights to broadcast the Olympic games in the US, will use the main pool feeds coming out of London, as well as their own commentary similar to that which will be screened the NBC network. All 302 events from 32 sports will be streamed live.

Former NBC Today show anchor Meredith Vieira will return to the network for the Olympics. The Today show team traditionally present the breakfast show live from the host country for the duration of the games.

A similar service has already been announced by the BBC, which includes live coverage online and across the main BBC channels.
