New Doctor Who Trailer To Air In August

The BBC has revealed that a new trailer for the next series of Doctor Who will air in early August.

Thursday 2nd August at 8pm will see a new trailer for the forthcoming seventh season of Doctor Who air on BBC One the corporation has announced. The new trailer for Doctor Who forms part of the BBC’s British Original Drama campaign which will be pushed on the back of the Olympic Games – in the hope of reaching massive audiences.

Doctor Who will be just one of several BBC dramas to be featured in the new campaign with returning dramas Merlin and Accused also featured as well as new dramas Good Cop, Ripper Street, Hunted, The Paradise and The Secret of Crickley Hall. BBC One’s flagship soap EastEnders will also feature in the campaign.

Matt Smith previously indicated the seventh season of Doctor Who would launch on BBC One in August.
