Sister of David Coulthard found dead

Sad news from the Coulthard family.

The Sister of Ex-Formula 1 driver, now BBC F1 pundit David Coulthard has been found dead in her home in Crossmichael, South West Scotland.

Police and ambulance crews were called to the home of 35 year-old Lynsay Jackson this morning. She ran the David Coulthard Museum in Twynholm. She is survived by her husband, Will, and eight month old daughter Emily.

Dumfries and Galloway Police spokesman: “We can confirm that a 35-year-old woman was found dead in her home today in Crossmichael.

“Our enquiries into her death are on-going at this time but there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a report is being prepared for the procurator fiscal.”

Her mother and father Joyce and Duncan are flying home from a holiday in Australia. David Coulthard was on BBC’s Saturday Kitchen this morning and was believed to have found out after the live show ended.
