This Morning have revealed their three finalists for their male model competition. Viewers are now asked to vote which hunk they like the most.
In 2001 This Morning discovered David Gandy, then an unknown university student from Essex, who is now a supermodel whose face and body have appeared on billboards and in commercials all over the world.
The ITV daytime series played its small part in that success story and is now hoping to launch a new male model into the world of glamour.
Twelve years on, This Morning earlier this year launched a new male model competition to help propel the career of an aspiring young hopeful. Presented by Harry Judd, the hopefuls have gone through auditions and challenges and today saw the remaining six being whittled down to three finalists who will go up to the public vote during tomorrow’s live final on This Morning.
The successful candidate will win a coveted modelling campaign for one season with Hom underwear, an agency contract with Unsigned management for two years, as well as £2,000 in prize money and a years’ supply of Hom underwear.
I’m thrilled This Morning asked me to host this model search for them… its a really exciting and potentially life changing experience for someone. Effectively we are looking for the next David Gandy! – Harry Judd
Each round and challenges have been judged by lingerie model and This Morning’s fashion contributor Abbey Clancy, the head scout at Unsigned Management Cesar Perin, and Regine Weimar the general manager of HOM.
This competition has the potential to uncover the most important new find in the UK modelling industry, I’m genuinely looking forward to finding the new face of British Fashion. – Cesar Perin
You can vote for your favourite by tuning into ITV from 10.30am tomorrow for the finale on This Morning.
