We’ve got two rather fabulous parodies of Bravo‘s reality series The Real Housewives Of New York City.

Vivian and I came across these superb spoofs of The Real Housewives Of New York City some months ago and we’ve been waiting patiently for an opportune moment to feature them. Thankfully Jill Zarin, formerly a cast member of the series, has given us just that moment by offering to return to The Real Housewives Of New York City after being dropped from the cast following the fourth season. Sadly Bravo doesn’t seem to keen to rehire Jill Zarin despite falling ratings for the fifth season .

The Real Housewives Of New York City is the only entry in the franchise I actually watch darlings – I’m hooked. I can lose hours just watching the episodes on ITV2. It’s my big guilty pleasure but its okay because its American – so we can sit and watch and laugh without feeling uncomfortable and at least these housewives don’t have Essex, Geordie or Scouse accents!

The spoofs are by Jeff Payton and his brilliant entourage and I think you’ll agree darlings they are spot on!
