Law and Order: UK actor Paul Nicholls is to join the cast of BBC One drama Holby City. The actor is still remembered for playing Joe Wicks in EastEnders in the 1990s.
Holby City is delighted to announce that Paul Nicholls will be joining the cast as experienced Nurse Simon Marshall. Paul has appeared in a host of popular television programmes including EastEnders, Law & Order: UK and Midsomer Murders.
“I’m delighted to be joining as a guest on Holby City, it’s a programme I’ve always admired and I’m thrilled to be part of this particular storyline. Simon is a confident guy and is sure to be in his element, I can’t wait to get stuck in.” – Paul Nicholls
Quick-witted Simon, who is used to dealing with doctors and their egos, is definitely not afraid of standing up to his superiors and undermining hospital hierarchy with his humour. Charming and attractive, he is sure to set some hearts racing on Keller.
“Paul is an actor with a fantastic pedigree and we are delighted he’ll be joining Holby City for a few months. I can’t give too much away at the moment, but his character is definitely going to have an impact and ruffle a few feathers.” – Johnathan Young, Executive Producer
Paul will make his on screen debut in May 2012.
