Anna’s trial begins and Phelan is called as the first witness. Lying through his teeth Phelan paints Anna to be the villain, making out she pushed Seb off his ladder. Anna looks at him with pure hatred. Seb’s next up in the witness box, will he go against Phelan?
Intent on putting a stop to any future relationship between Sarah and Gary, Bethany forms a plan with the help of her lap-dancing mate, Sam. When Sarah arrives at the Rovers to find a girl draped all over Gary will she fall for Bethany’s sting?
Elsewhere, Adam notes Billy’s desperation for painkillers; Billy approaches Peter looking to bury the hatchet; Liz suggests a party at the Rovers as Gemma ponders Henry’s birthday; Toyah is suspicious of Peter and Carla.

Despite ruining her dress, Mandy wants her and Luke to act like a loving couple so they can get Ella back, but Mandy struggles to hold it together in front of the social worker and rushes out of the house.
Later, Darren takes the blame for ruining Mandy’s dress. Thinking she’s wrongly accused Luke, Mandy races back to the social worker and is overjoyed to get Ella back. Luke decides he’s getting married next week, with or without a divorce, until Scarlett turns up…
Elsewhere, there’s a hint of sexual chemistry between Simone and Shane; Adam agrees to let Darcy see Toby, unaware she’s planning to run away to Florida with him.

Valerie continues to push her diet, handing out paleo-brownies for people to eat. When Al sees Valerie espousing her diet later, he picks her up on it and tells her in no uncertain times, and very forcefully, that this is place of science and they need to maintain standards. Valerie isn’t happy.
Jimmi suggests to Emma that she put a spare room on Home BnB, it’s a nice little earner, and now she has no-one staying it might be an idea. Her house is ideal in so many ways. She says she’ll think about it.
Elsewhere, Ben’s first day is chaotic when he arrives to find the Mill’s system has been hacked.
