Radio 1′s Hackney Weekend closes with Rihanna

Rihanna has closed the Radio 1 Hackney Weekend two-day festival.

The festival was held on Hackney Marshes featuring different stages covering modern genres. It has formed part of the build up to the London 2010 Olympics which are happening just a short distance from the marshes.
The BBC reported that up to 50,000 attended on Saturday, and the same on Sunday to see acts such as Leona Lewis, rapper Professor Green and Rihanna.
On Saturday, rapper Jay Z headlined, performing a number of his hits including being joined on stage by Rihanna to perform their hit song ‘Run This Town’.
