Soap star Stephen Hancock, who appeared in serials Emergency Ward 10, Crossroads and Coronation Street has died aged 89.
Emmerdale bosses have cast Mark Jordon in the role of Dan Spencer’s (Liam Fox) older brother Daz. Long running television drama Heartbeat continues to prove a success on DVD with the eighteenth – and final – series of the Yorkshire Television 1960s based serial released next month.

Following the announcement earlier this week that all the Nick Berry episodes are to be released in a box set, Network have also confirmed the later editions will also continue to be issued on DVD.

Heartbeat, the Yorkshire Television saga set in the 1960s, and the fictional world of Aidensfield Village, focused on the staff of the local police station with former EastEnders actor Nick Berry taking the lead. Now all of Berry’s episodes are to be contained in one box set.
