Two and a Half MenRatings for CBS comedy Two and a Half Men continued to fall last night as the series dropped below 15 million viewers while Fox’s Terra Nova bounced back from last week’s low.

Steven Spielberg’s Terra Nova saw its ratings rise last night after last week’s drop when the dino-drama was pushed back due to over-running sports action. The rise in ratings for this week’s episode proves last week’s drop was due to the late running nature of the episode rather than viewers switching off because of lack of interest. Terra Nova had just under 8 million viewers last night with a 2.7 18-49 rating. ABC’s Dancing with the Stars had a hefty 16.7 million viewers and a 3.0 18-49 rating. CBS comedy How I Met Your Mother had 9.7 million viewers but won the 8pm hour in terms of the 18-49 viewers as it had a rating of 4.1 million. Elsewhere at 8pm The CW’s Gossip Girl had 1.3 million viewers with a 0.6 18-49 rating – there is already talk that the current fifth season might be the teen drama’s last.

At 9pm CBS’s Two and a Half Men continued its trend of losing viewers week-on-week as it slipped under the 15 million viewers mark but still won the hour amongst 18-49 viewers. The latest episode of the comedy had 14.8 million viewers with a 5.2 18-49 rating. Fox’s comedy drama House starring Hugh Laurie had 8.3 million viewers with a 3.1 rating while Hart of Dixie on The CW had 1.7 million viewers and a 0.5 18-49 rating. Later in the evening at 10pm ABC drama Castle had 11.5 million viewers and a 2.6 18-49 rating winning the hour in terms of total viewers. But in terms of viewers within the 18-49 demograph Hawaii Five-0 on CBS won with a 3.1 rating and 10.8 million viewers overall.
