Dallas returns to television screens tonight (in America on TNT) for its first new series since 1991. For newer viewers the history of the iconic 1980s soapy drama may be unknown to them so original series actors Larry Hagman and Patrick Duffy present a video to bring viewers up to speed.

After all there’s a lot new viewers will need to know about such as the Dallas/Barnes feud as Cliff Barnes (Ken Kercheval) will return at some point, the deep rivalry between Bobby and J.R to understand, the politics of the Ewing family itself and the love/hate relationship between J.R and Sue Ellen (Linda Gray).
