Vivan’s hunk this time is dishy Channel 4 property expert and presenter Jonnie Irwin.

With a dad as a developer, Jonnie Irwin has property in his blood. After graduating with a degree in estate management he worked as a surveyor and has since valued, acquired and sold all types of property. – Say Channel 4.

You can find him hosting all kinds of programmes on Channel 4, and currently I’ve been enjoying a wonderful series on More4. It’s a repeat, but I missed it somehow the first time so am thrilled More4 have given me a chance for seconds.

The Renovation Game sees a team of equally attractive people tart up a property in a few days. Which for these homes makes them look a lot better than the poor victims of ITV’s 60 Minute Makeover. Have you seen that on ITV1 HD? Gosh darlings, there are creases in the wallpaper, splodges of paint in places it should be and hard to keep clean fabrics chucked about to hide a multitude of sins.

Anyway back to business. This week on The Renovation Game the team are in Brighton, at the home of Dave and Katy and their seven-year-old son Freddy. Katy’s a teacher and Dave works for a credit card company. They bought their house just over a year ago and had great plans for it as their first family home. But with no experience of house renovation, the funds have run out sooner than they expected. Downstairs, they’ve been left with a bit of a building site.  You can find out on Monday (30th April) at 15.35pm on More4 how they get on – and more importantly spend time viewing our delightful Jonnie Irwin. I do love a man who knows how to handle his tool right, and as you can see our Jonnie can manage two at once.
