Richard Madeley, Eamonn Holmes and Jeremy Kyle will guest host Good Morning Britain this summer, ITV have announced.
“I’m really looking forward to being back on GMB this August to wake the nation up over the summer holidays. Now all I need to do is find my alarm clock!” – Jeremy Kyle
The famous names are to present the ITV breakfast offering while usual hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid take their summer break. The pair will return to the programme in September. In the mean time Eamonn Holmes returns to his former stomping ground to co-host alongside Charlotte Hawkins.
Holmes has recently filled in twice on the programme and will present from Monday 31st July for three days with usual Good Morning Britain presenters Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway on as usual for the Thursday and Friday shows.
The following week from Monday the 7th August Kate Garraway will present Monday to Thursday. She will be joined by Jeremy Kyle Monday to Wednesday and then hosts with Ben Shephard on Thursday. Charlotte Hawkins will join Ben on Friday 11th August.
Jeremy will also present Monday to Wednesday for the following two weeks alongside Kate week starting Monday the 14th August. Jeremy last guest presented the programme in Easter 2016.
Former This Morning stalwart Richard Madeley will guest present the programme for the first time on Thursday 17th August and Friday 18th August with Kate Garraway while usual presenter Ben Shephard is on leave. He will also present on Thursday 24th August with Kate Garraway and with Charlotte on Friday 25th August.
Richard will present with Ranvir Singh from Monday 28th August to Wednesday 30th August and Ben Shephard will present with Ranvir on Thursday 31st August and Friday 1st September.
“I’ve known Piers for 30 years so sitting in for him on GMB is an excellent opportunity to gather some inside information on him which I will unhesitatingly use to wind him up afterwards. Seriously though, I’m looking forward to it immensely and after all those years on This Morning the early starts will seem like old times.” – Richard Madeley
Good Morning Britain will also air until 9.30am for two weeks from 21st August while Lorraine Kelly is on holiday – she returns to present the programme on Monday 4th September.
