The issue of legalisation has long been a subject of debate in the UK with marijuana having been reported to ease the symptoms of arthritis, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis and several other conditions. However, it remains the most commonly used and trafficked illicit drug in the world and evidence suggests frequent and prolonged use can have an adverse effect on both mental and physical health.
Recently Channel 5 sent a bunch of senior celebrities on a road trip with Celebrity Five Go Motorhoming. The series, without the aid of marijuana saw Lesley Joseph, Don Warrington, Melvyn Hayes, Nick Heyward and Cleo Rocos venture across Wales and Scotland, in a visually striking and good-natured travelogue about friendship and discovery.
“I think sometimes the ITV commissioners must be on the wacky backy some of the utter drivel they pass off as programmes darling” – TV Critic Vivian Summers
