The Jack Dee comedy vehicle will return for six brand new episodes in 2018.
The sitcom stars Dee and Kerry Godliman, whose characters – married couple Steve and Nicky – find that rural living isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
“I’m naturally delighted that I’ll be working again with the brilliant Bad Move cast. The show has clearly struck a chord with a great many viewers and we are very much looking forward to dumping more country life problems on Nicky and Steve in series 2.” – Jack Dee
Also back for series two will be neighbours Matt (Miles Jupp) and Meena (Manjinder Virk), local rock star Grizzo (Seann Walsh), father in-law Ken (Philip Jackson) and Shannon (Sue Vincent) – the local shopkeeper.
Bad Move‘s recently-concluded first series proved a ratings success for ITV, the broadcaster notes, with overnight ratings in the region of 4 million viewers.
“The charms of country life will no doubt continue to elude Steve and Nicky, as their rural domesticity brings increasing aggravation and tribulation. We’ll be seeing a lot more of Steve’s unguarded responses to daily small scale irritations, which will of course escalate to become his and Nicky’s undoing. Will he never learn?” – Saskia Schuster, Comedy Commissioner at ITV
Bad Move is produced by Open Mike Productions.
