I’m A Celebrity recommissioned by Australia’s Network Ten

ITV Studios’ Australian division has secured a sixth series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! on Network Ten.

In the UK Network Ten is probably best known to audiences for Aussie soaps Neighbours and Prisoner: Cell Block H. However the channel airs a wide range of programmes, and ITV has for the past five years given its viewers a version of I’m A Celebrity

A sixth run of ITV Studios Australia’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! has been commissioned by Network Ten following a record-breaking fifth season which is still in production and will air its finale on the 17th of February. ITV Studios Australia are also celebrating following what they describe as the ‘unprecedented success of the UK’s series eighteen and the equally strong 19th outing in Germany echoed Down Under.’

Created in the UK by ITV production company London Weekend Television in association with Granada Television, I’m a Celebrity….Get Me Out of Here! has run for 18 series on the ITV Network, including UTV in Northern Ireland and STV in Scotland, winning multiple awards. Rounding out its most-watched season ever, the 18th season finale was the third highest-viewed programme (live TV Viewing) across the entire of 2018 (behind two World Cup fixtures) with a peak audience of 12.1m and a 56% share.

The number one entertainment show in Germany also, I’m a Celebrity….Get Me Out of Here! recently enjoyed its 13th successful run on RTL, peaking with 6.4m viewers. Produced in a total of 12 territories worldwide a new season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! will go into production for TF1 by ITV Studios France in the coming months.

The series debuted in 2002 with hosts Ant and Dec at the helm. Since then over 200 UK episodes have been produced.
