There’s more Good-News for JoAnne at the BBC.
Actress and presenter JoAnne Good has increased her radio broadcasting by presenting a number of new programmes for BBC Radio.
JoAnne is now hosting an overnight programme on BBC LDN 94.9 during the week 2am to 6am, Sundays 12-3pm and her local Brighton show on Saturdays from 9am to 1pm.
She got into Beeb local radio after being invited to review newspapers on a regional BBC radio station. Her opinionated views and strong stance on politics earned her a daily programme for BBC Southern Counties Radio, proving popular with listeners in the area.
She now manages to combine acting work with broadcasting and has appeared in recent times dramas such as The Bill for ITV and the BBC’s Casualty.
JoAnne came to national fame via ATV soap opera Crossroads where she starred as serial’s first female mechanic Carol Sands. The role saw her become ‘instantly’ recognised on the streets of Birmingham where the saga was produced.
Prior to Crossroads Jo had a small role in an early edition of Only Fools and Horses.
