Boy George isn’t returning to The Voice UK ahead of its move to ITV.

The Culture Club singer took to Twitter to announce that his time as a coach on the singing talent show was over. Boy George, who replaced popular coach Sir Tom Jones, said he was “not doing this season” of The Voice UK and told fans to “watch this space” for what he has planned next.

ITV confirmed yesterday (4 July) that is returning for the sixth series alongside host Emma Willis. It is not yet known who else will be joining Will on the new series. Auditions are currently underway with filming with the new coaches expected in the coming months.
