Alesha Dixon, Britain's Got TalentAlesha Dixon has claimed she would be “silly” not to return to ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent for a third series.

Unreality TV reports that the 34-year-old singer praised her second stint on the show’s judging panel alongside Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and David Walliams earlier this year.

The series was won by Hungarian shadow dance act Attraction.

“The standard this year was so much higher than I expected and it was a lovely feel on the panel too. Last year David and I were the newbies. This time everything was settled.

“It was great – the ratings were good, Simon was on top form and the production people were delighted with it.”

She added that she has not yet been offered a new contract to return to the ITV talent series in 2014.

Dixon – who announced earlier this year that she was expecting her first baby – is currently the face of new ITV entertainment series Your Face Sounds Familiar alongside Paddy McGuiness.

Airing each Saturday evening the show challenges celebrities to perform as different iconic music artists every week before a panel of judges.

Last night’s opening episode drew 4m (inc +1) viewers to ITV1 from 7.30pm.
