Enders crash aftermath, Corrie Jason Karl fight, Dales Adam arrest

EastEnders-mediumIn EastEnders, under financial strain, Phil (Steve McFadden) agrees to assist Carl (Daniel Coonan) in a dodgy deal but it’s clear Carl is up to something.

As they make their way to the deal, Carl’s reckless driving causes his car to collide with a lorry before crashing into several parked vehicles.

While Carl manages to get free from the car, things look bleak for passenger Phil who lies motionless across the bonnet after being thrown through the wind screen.

Later, while Phil lies in hospital fighting for his life, police swoop on the Queen Vic where Max (Jake Wood) is celebrating brother Jack’s (Scott Maslen) birthday and arrest him for criminal damage with intent to endanger life.

It emerges that someone has made a witness statement claiming that they saw Max tampering with the brakes on Carl’s motor.

This episode airs on Thursday 5th September at 7.30pm on BBC One.

Coronation Street LogoMeanwhile, in Coronation Street a fight breaks out between Karl (John Michie) and Jason (Ryan Thomas).

On Karl’s stag night Jason winds his former love rival up but is left stunned when Karl grabs him and makes a shock admission.

Reeling from Karl’s confession, Jason threatens to go to the police but Karl tells him they won’t believe him.

Jason lashes out at Karl and a fight ensues before Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) enters the toilets and pulls the men apart.

Over in Emmerdale Cameron (Dominic Power) spots an opportunity to mislead the police over Alex’s death.

Cameron winds Adam (Adam Thomas) up causing him to punch Declan (Jason Merrells) in full view of the police.

Adam is promptly arrested – but with Cameron planting seeds linking him to Alex’s murder, will he be investigated about something far more serious than assault?
