Stephen Mulhern on CatchphraseITV has commissioned two new live entertainment shows for Sunday mornings.

Stephen Mulhern will front Sunday Side Up – a one hour fun packed show featuring celebrity guests, showbiz chat, games and surprises.

Stephen will keep the weekend spirit alive with a fully interactive show for the whole family.

I am thrilled to be hosting ITV’s Sunday Side Up!  Can’t wait to get started and spend Sunday mornings live on air with some very special guests and some genius entertainment ideas that will amaze, excite and make you laugh out loud! I love the fact the show is live so we can react to anything that’s happening at any time, with our viewers being part of it from start to finish! – Mulhern

Following that will be Sunday Scoop presented by Nadia Sawalha and Kaye Adams – a topical mix of the week’s news with great food and debate thrown in. The pair will be joined by a third male host every week with reality TV star Peter Andre joining them on their first five shows.

I cannot believe my luck that every Sunday I will be presenting a show alongside my best friend Kaye Adams that will essentially mirror what will be going on in homes across country. Great gossip and guests and to top it all I get to cook lovely food throughout the show that I will try really hard not to eat all myself! See you on Sunday soon… – Sawalha

Sunday Scoop will see Sawalha, Adams and their male co-host pouring over the newspapers, while guests and friends pop by for a cuppa, it will also show them preparing the best meal of the week – Sunday lunch!

This is an amazing opportunity to be part of the kind of programme that I would like to watch on a Sunday morning. I can’t think of better company to be in than like minded viewers and my dear friend , Nadia Sawalha. I also look forward to enjoying some fabulous food because , thankfully, Nadia will be cooking and not me ! – Adams

Sawalha recently reprised her role as a panellist on ITV’s weekday afternoon gossip series Loose Women. Adams is expected to reprise her role as an anchor on the panel show later this month alternating with Andrea McLean and Carol Vorderman.

Loose Women is currently undergoing a revamp as daytime execs battle viewer fatigue and falling ratings. Long-standing panellists Carol McGiffin and Denise Welch recently quit the show, while Jane Moore and Coleen Nolan have also returned.
