X Factor: End of the road for Rough Copy

X Factor Rough CopyX Factor semi-final serves up a deadlock shock as Rough Copy are sent home.

Gary Barlow’s remaining group found themselves in the bottom two tonight up against Luke Friend. It was the second week in a row Luke had faced the sing-off and this week he performed Keane’s ‘Somewhere Only We Know’ for survival. His mentor Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne chose to send him through.

Nicole Scherzinger, who has no acts left in the competition, voted to put Rough Copy through to the final. Gary Barlow also backed his own act.

Rough Copy belted out Boyz II Men’s ‘End Of The Road’, which indeed it was after Sharon Osbourne decided to vote to save Luke, sending the decision back to the earlier public vote.

Sam Bailey, Nicholas McDonald and Luke Friend will battle it out at the X Factor final next weekend. The extravaganza will be held at Wembley Arena in London where One Direction and Sir Elton John are set to perform.
