Over 11m viewers tuned in for the final of Strictly Come Dancing 2013, early figures show.
The series climaxed with two instalments on BBC One last night, the first of which aired between 6.30pm and 7.55pm and attracted 11.48m viewers, a 48.1% share of the audience.
Later, the same number of viewers returned for the final result at 8.40pm to see model Abbey Clancy crowned the series’ winner, equating to a 45.8% share.
A peak audience of 12.57m 48.7% saw the moment Clancy lifted the glitter ball trophy with professional partner Aljaž Skorjanec.
