Linda faced the public vote alongside Lee Ryan, Ollie Locke, Luisa Zissman and Jim Davidson following face to face nominations on Wednesday.
Linda seemed in good spirits as she left the house despite a chorus of boos from the assembled crowd.
Joining Emma Willis for her post-eviction interview, Linda said: “I would love to have stayed in. I loved it. I’m a little bit gutted that I’m out but that’s what the show is all about”.
Linda described her Big Brother experience as “amazing” and said she would do it again in a heartbeat despite the hostile reception she received from her eviction crowd.
After being shown a VT of her feud with Jim Davidson – a major talking point of the series – Linda revealed: “I don’t want to spend my whole interview talking about Jim Davidson. I stand by everything I did in that house.
“I was true to myself. I was honest [and] I never pretended. Jim and I were both fine until Jim had a little drink one night…
“I think Jim is a game player. He says one thing to your face and then you hear that he’s slagging you behind your back which he did with all of us”.
Linda denied that she had allowed the feud to consume her time in the house saying she had lots of great times in there and that the public only got to see a snippet of the action.
She added: “Jim went to a really low place when we had our argument. He stepped over the mark, he brought my husband into an argument and my husband is dead. Sometimes sorry isn’t good enough.
“I don’t hate Jim. I don’t like him. I wasn’t Jim’s friend when I went in and I won’t be his friend when he leaves the house. That’s fine [and] I’m sure he feels the same”.
Linda defended her argument with Ollie Locke saying she had found his speech to the house following face to face nominations “over the top” and she felt it was important for Ollie to have an opinion.
Following Linda’s interview, Emma announced live to the housemates that they had made it through to the Celebrity Big Brother final on Wednesday 29th January.
However, what the housemates don’t know is that there will be a surprise eviction this Sunday where the housemate with the fewest votes to win will be evicted.
