Peter AndrePeter Andre appeared on ITV’s Daybreak earlier today to talk about the recent birth of his daughter Amelia.

The media personality – who became a father for the third time last month – told Lorraine Kelly and John Stapleton that choosing the name Amelia had been a joint decision with his fiancée Emily and his older children:

We thought of a name at last, we’ve finally came up with the name! It’s very nice, it ended up being out of Isabella and Amelia and we all sat together [with the kids] and we all decided.

Reflecting on Amelia’s birth, Peter admitted he was worried that Emily might give birth in the car:

It was just an incredible experience, the birth of any child for any parent is incredible and this was something that I’ll never forget… We drove from home to Taunton which was a three and a half to four hour drive and before we left the house she wasn’t in labour, halfway to the house she was in labour.

By the time we got halfway, the contractions started, then I thought she’s going to give birth in the car and then I started panicking. Then there was traffic!

On the subject of marriage, Peter confirmed he will marry Emily in a traditional wedding that suits them both:

We’re definitely going to get married… I want a traditional English and traditional Greek and I want to do two separate ones… it’s going to be a couple of years yet but it will be English and it will be Greek.
