The Take Me Out host joined Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby on the show to chat about the current series of the ITV dating show – now in its sixth series – as well as his own romantic skills.
Paddy said of Take Me Out:
It’s doing well and when I see things like weddings and babies being born I think ‘yeah it’s not a gimmick, it really does work!’
On his own romantic skills, Paddy confessed,
I think I’m quite romantic, but I think men look at romance differently to women – my wife doesn’t think I’m romantic – but I think a cup of tea in the morning in bed and doing the washing up, little things…is romantic. I’m not really a rose petals type of person.
When quizzed about working with Peter Kay again, Paddy admitted:
We are thinking about it, but there’s no plans at the moment. We have written something.
The Bolton comics previously worked together on Phoenix Nights and Max and Paddy’s Road to Nowhere, as well as releasing a spoof fitness DVD Max and Paddy’s Power of Two.
