Channel 4 bosses have yet to decide on whether to give the go ahead for series two of The Taste.
The Taste, headed up by cooking goddess Nigella Lawson, is unlikely to make a comeback as the first series continues to fall short of 1 million viewers. The Mirror reports that a Channel 4 spokesman has said no decision has been made on the UK or the US version, which airs on ABC.
The Taste features Lawson and fellow judges Anthony Bourdain and Ludo Lefebvre in a Voice style competition. 25 hopefuls delivered one spoonful of food which showcased their culinary talents. Tomorrow is the final episode, as the four remaining cooks do battle.
The Taste had a promising start in January, with 1.8 million viewers tuning into the first episode. Since then ratings have fallen below 1 million, with some editions below 800,000 viewers.
The Taste final airs tomorrow at 9.00pm on Channel 4.
